An HVAC and mechanical services contractor. Diagnostic delivered, nothing in production. The diagnostic measured the real volume of bids produced over the year, the time manual re-pricing was eating, and the gap between the price list in use and market prices.
That price list was more than ten years old. Every bid that year therefore started from a basis that no longer tracked the market, without it showing on any single bid.
That’s a deliverable in itself: the owner now has those three numbers on paper, and a plan priced project by project.
